Welcome to the Times Union Center Web site, where you can get the latest information on the most popular sports and entertainment complex in New York State's Capital Region.
Home to the AHL River Rats, Albany Conquest and the Siena Saints MAAC basketball team, the Times Union Center continually brings a variety of exciting events to Albany, New York. We have worked hard to make the Times Union Center not only the premier sports and entertainment venue in the Northeast, but also a profitable facility that Albany County residents can be proud of.
In the past few years, we have hosted the NCAA National Championship in hockey (Frozen Four) and wrestling and the Eastern Regional in basketball (Sweet Sixteen) and hockey, as well as the MAAC basketball championship and the ECAC hockey championships. Fans also enjoyed the Fan Fests to kick-off these great events.
Aside from professional and college sports, the Times Union Center is also host to an array of other events, including concerts, family shows, ice shows, motorcross and monster truck events and trade shows.
The Center offers something for everyone. I hope you will visit the Center soon to enjoy one of our great events.

Facility fees explained
On April 9, 2001, the Albany County Legislature approved a measure to fund needed repairs and improvements at Times Union Center. On May 1, 2001,
a $1.00 facility fee was added to all tickets sold with two exceptions:
- Season ticket packages are exempt from this fee.
- Times Union Center tickets costing $7.50 or less have a 50¢ fee added.
The monies generated will be utilized to upgrade the scoreboard and lighting systems at the Center, and to create a fund to pay for repairs to the infrastructure of the building.
Although this is the first time the Times Union Center will add a fee to each ticket sold,
it is a widely held industry standard. Many venues utilize facility fees to fund their repairs and/or improvements.
The monies collected by the Center and Albany County will be set aside from income and be used in compliance with the resolution passed Monday, April 9, 2001 (monies used only to fund new enhancements and future repairs).
